For me, conciseness is key.

Finding the right visual language for each story is most important. It's easy to just throw a bunch of effects on top of each other and call it a day. But the viewer will be able to tell.

 

"Light-hearted", "whimsical", "tongue-in-cheek" ...

I just want to get a chuckle

out of you.  We shouldn't take ourselves too seriously - this is advertising!
